Many people run WhatsApp Business next to their personal WhatsApp — one number for customers, one for friends. Statuses you view in WhatsApp Business are saved on your phone just like the others, but in a different folder. That is why a status saver can show your WhatsApp statuses and still show nothing from WhatsApp Business.
Where WhatsApp Business keeps statuses
On Android 11 and newer:
Android/media/com.whatsapp.w4b/WhatsApp Business/Media/.Statuses
Compare it with the personal app’s folder,
Android/media/com.whatsapp/WhatsApp/Media/.Statuses. The .w4b part is how
Android tells the two apps apart.
Save them with Selu
- Allow the Business folder once. Open Settings ▸ Accounts. Next to WhatsApp Business, tap Allow. Android’s folder picker opens at the right folder; tap Use this folder, then Allow.
- Choose what to show. On the Statuses screen, tap Change account: WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business, or Both mixed in one list.
- Save as usual. Tap a status and tap Save, or select several and save
them together. Business statuses are saved to the same folders as the
rest:
Pictures/StatusSaver,Movies/StatusSaverandMusic/StatusSaver.
The viewer’s Details (in the ⋮ menu) shows which account a status came from.
If WhatsApp Business is not installed, Selu says so next to it in Settings ▸ Accounts, and there is nothing to allow.
Save them without an app
A file manager can reach the same folder. Turn on hidden files and open
Android ▸ media ▸ com.whatsapp.w4b ▸ WhatsApp Business ▸ Media ▸

Things to know
- View first. As with the personal app, only statuses you have opened in WhatsApp Business are on your phone.
- One day. WhatsApp Business deletes its copy about a day after writing it. Selu’s Keep statuses setting can hold copies for up to 7 days, for both accounts.
- Customers’ statuses are still theirs. If you save a customer’s status — for example a product photo they posted — ask before you reuse it.
